Here's a catching up on Miss Mckayla Bears activities:
Playing peek-a-boo Just hangin' out Oh my goodness...it's Elmo's World! "I know you're in there baby penguin!" "Yay I completely emptied my pants drawer that mommy organized!"
Learning to do somersaults
Talking to that SUPER cute little girl in the mirror
I know I am so behind with my posts, but here's some pics from our trip to Duncan last weekend. Mckayla LOVED the dogs! She also took her first couple steps while we were there!! She only did it a couple times and hasn't really done it since. I'm sure she'll take off soon enough!
Here it is, the final monthly growth posting! I've been meaning to post it forever but the 1 year picture is so blurry, I wasn't too excited about it. It's nearly impossible to get a one year old to lay still!!!
Yesterday Mckayla said another new word! She was crawling around on the air vents in just a onsesie with no pants and I told her that she needed pants on because it is ouchie on her knees, and I said ouch a couple more times then she just outright said "OUCH!" as clear as day! She said it over and over and repeats it most anytime we say it! So cute! I caught a little video of her saying it in the tub tonight after her stork toy basket lid had fallen on her head:
Another bathtime game; eating the washcloth (it's clean don't worry!) And here's some other cute pics from the past couple days: She loves her zebra!
I know I'm a little late getting a Halloween post done, but better late than never! Mommy had to work on Halloween :( so Daddy took Mckayla to meet Matt, Wendi, and Emily at the mall to play and do some trick-or-treating. Mckayla's Care Bear costume is so hot and she doesn't really like wearing it so he put her in her Abby Cadabby outfit that says "Fairy in Training" and is kind of like a last-minute costume. Emily's little witch outfit looks so cute, I wish I could have seen the girls myself but at least Daddy got some cute pictures for me!
You can't really see Emily's face here but apparently they were having a yell-off!
There were a lot of pictures with Mckayla's mouth wide open like this and Chris said that's because she was talking and yelling practically the whole time!
Chris and I have been married since 2004 and everything continues to get better and better for us! In 2007, we bought our first house, I finished nursing school and became an RN, and most importantly we had our first baby; a beautiful little girl named Mckayla on October 19, 2007 and our newest addition, Olivia, born on December 22, 2010!!! There are no words to describe how amazing our princesses are and how blessed we are to have them in our lives!
