Chatterbox

Mckayla loves talking on the phone! She has a bunch of toy phones but none are as fun as the real deal! Luckily I can lock my keys so she doesn't start randomly calling people!
She just jabbers away and every now and then we'll here a "mama, dada" or if we've been talking about anyone else she throw their name in there too! It's so stinkin cute!
I love how she matched her Abby Cadabby doll that day! Her favorite character (yes I think she might be beating out Elmo too)!
Yeah we know you are cute :)

This is the first time Mckayla has worn this outfit and I LOOOOOVE it!!!
I found this little purse for her at Old Navy and I wanted it for a long time but it was more than I wanted to pay, but last time I was there I found it on clearance and I had a coupon so I snatched it up!! Mckayla loved it and I put her a little toy duck, her phone, and a little Elmo book in there and she carried it all over the house!
She still loves sitting in that cooler bag! She pulls it out and tries to get in it so I pulled it in front of the tv during Sesame Street and she just hung out in there watching tv! Such a silly girl :)

More Mother's Day

Thank you to Lacey for sending me these awesome pictures!!!! These show the real thing Mckayla was interested in on Mother's Day...my parents dog, Bubbles. She kept running around trying to see her and saying "Bubble, Bubble" while trying to go outside and see her. In fact she's staring at the computer right now saying "Bubble!"
I love those curls!

Random stuff

I got this cooler tote thing at work today and someone made a comment like "you can carry your kid around in it" so I gave it a try and not only did she fit, but she thought it was the funnest thing! I set her on the counter and she started grabbing mail and things like it was just her little play/lounge area.
And here's my beautiful mom on Mother's Day, the reason I am who I am and my inspiration for being a good mom :) I love you mom!
A random pic of daddy/daughter tv cuddle time
And classic Mckayla stealing my shoes and wearing them around. I tried to get her walking in my tennis shoe that is by her door here but she heard me and as soon as she sees the camera she FREAKS and wants it, so I had to be sneaky to get this!

Always having fun

Well this is another example of how silly my baby girl is...last night after I changed her diaper, I left her shorts off because it was close to jammie time anyway, then next time I looked back at her, she had grabbed her shorts and put them on over her head! She continued to wear them like this until I removed them a bit later. She is also carrying around a kitchen rag that was wet becuase she likes to not only "clean" things, but suck the water out when its wet (I made sure it was a clean rag for that). And she was also digging out my shoes from the closet and trying to wear my tennis shoes! Craziness!
On Sunday my parents came over and Mckayla and my dad spent a lot of time looking out the window at the birds and squirrels!! Mckayla is obsessed with birds lately so she's always wanting to look or go outside to see the "brr's" as she calls them!

Playing with Emily

Friday night while Chris and Matt went to see the new X-Men movie, Wendi and Emily came over to play for awhile! The girls were too cute playing together, I'm so glad Mckayla is finally old enough for them to actually play together! Emily was tickling Mckayla
They were being so funny playing with Mckayla's house toy, they kept peeking through the door and being so silly hiding and giggling.
Emily took a little break to sit on zebra and I thought she looked so cute just sitting there like this!
Then they had a little tea party!
Emily was serving us some tea too!
And this pic was from earlier in the day when we got home from Target after I'd bought some big tubs to store her baby clothes in. She would throw all her pacifiers and the kitchen towel in the tub, want to get in there with it all (which she thought was hilarious), then she'd throw everything out, want out of the tub, and repeat this process over and over.

Visiting the girls

Last Monday and Tuesday we went to spend the night with Brian, Lacey, Abbey, and Madison. Mckayla was SO excited to see her cousins! They were running around like crazy laughing, squealing, and Mckayla was yelling "Addy" over and over, it was so cute!

Chris got tackled by the girls!
Takng a drink break
Cookie face!
Sweet baby Madison
I loved getting such good snuggle time!
Abbey had just kissed Mckayla's finger and thought it was so funny!
Playing with Abbey's frog/snake collection
Madison even got to play too!
Look at this cutie!!!
They loved playing together!
Here's a video clip of Mckayla tickling Madison:
And of Mckayla and Abbey chasing eachother around the house...with Mckayla so excited yelling for Abbey the whole time!
Tuesday we went to the Tulsa zoo and it was so much fun because not only did the girls love the animals, but we were practically the only ones there so we got to really enjoy all the exhibits. Here's Chris and Abbey watching the polar bear:

Abbey, being obsessed with reptiles, thought this snake was...quote..."He's so cute!"

This mama sloth had a 4 week old baby and was climbing across this tree limb only a few feet above our head with no barrier between us! It was so neat!

All the girls!!! With Mckayla tickling Abbey :)

It was SOOOOO much fun and we can't wait to play again soon!!! We love you guys!
