Baby Number 2!!!

I know the announcement was made quite awhile ago now but Chris and I have still been adjusting to the news and I've been more worried this time around. I haven't had any problems but still I worry so I've been kind of waiting for my first appointment for confirmation that everything is going well. SO today was the big day and at first they did the doppler to try to find the heartbeat, but since it is so early they didn't expect to find it with the doppler...but they found it!!! It was a perfect fast little heartbeat!!! I was VERY relieved to hear it but I was thinking then that I wouldn't get an ultrasound since they found the heartbeat with the doppler (greedy of me I know, hehehe) but I guess I got lucky because I got an ultrasound too! We saw our little peanut and could see it's heart beating too! I was happy there was only ONE bean in there! Right before the ultrasound Chris had said "if it's twins then we can have a Luke and Leia if it's a boy and girl!" HA but NO! Now we are relieved and feeling a bit more excited about the whole deal and I will be even happier when the nausea goes away :) So by ultrasound the baby measures exactly 9 weeks, which is 3 days ahead of what I had calculated so now the due date is December 28th! Looking likely for a Christmas baby!!

Fun at the lake

I didn't get a lot of pictures because I was having so much fun being a bum, but I did catch the girls eating popsicles on the porch (I'll also add that it was like 58 degrees outside at the time too!)

We had lots of fun feeding the fish, turtles, and ducks and of course we ate tons of good food! Mckayla also helped me make sugar cookies with frosting and sprinkles! Hopefully next time we come it will be a bit warmer and we can actually get out on the boat and swim a little!
