Emily's Birthday

Sorry, I can't stay Wordless on this Wednesday! Too much posting to catch up on! Last Saturday was Emily's 3rd birthday party and it was a Princess party! Emily looked SOOOO cute in her Snow White costume and got pretty much all Snow White and princess toys! It was tons of fun! Here's the pretty birthday girl:

She would get excited to open each present, then want to open it right then and kept having to be reminded that there were more presents! She loved it all!

She even got some play make up!

This was her best gift, it's a doll care center where you can bathe, feed, and rock the baby doll to sleep! It was adorable and might have to make an appearance on Mckayla's Christmas wish list ;)

Oh yeah..it was Matt's birthday party too (even though he was greatly outnumbered by princesses!)
Cake time!
After cake and ice cream all the kids went outside and ran around chasing bubbles from this bubble machine. Mckayla went crazy over all the bubbles!
It was a GREAT day and Happy Birthday yesterday to Emily and Happy Birthday today to Matt! The big 3-0!

Mckayla loves her play necklaces and bracelets! She played with them forever last night putting them on and taking them off over and over. She also kept having mama AND dada put on some jewelry too! Too bad I didn't get a pic of daddy looking oh so pretty ;) hehe

Pretty Penguin

I was cleaning out Mckayla's closet and found Abbey's old Halloween costume! Lacey gave it to us for Mckayla to play dress up in and she was all for it! She makes a pretty cute penguin!! :)

Zoo!!!

Today we went to the zoo and it was a PERFECT day! The overcast sky and mild temperature with a breeze, along with only a handful of other people there, made it just perfect! Since the weather was so nice, we got to see a lot of the animals out that we don't always get to see. Mckayla and I both loved seeing the newest zebra that was born in July! Isn't he cuuuuute!

Here we saw a lion that was laying on a rock right by where we were standing! Mckayla said hello to him with a nice little growl :)

For the first part of the walk in the zoo, Mckayla wanted to hold BOTH of our hands, but that was kinda hard for me to do while pushing the stroller so daddy took over that duty :)
This deer came right up to us at the window too!!

The meer-cats cracked us up because they were just laying around looking lazy then when we came up and another group of kids, the all jumped up really fast and stared at us all like they were begging for food, it was so cute!

These cool looking bird guys had these tiny little babies just 3 days ago!!! Aren't they cute!!
The sea lion's were hopping in and out of the water and talking like crazy too, it was pretty neat!

Trip to the Lake

We finally got to go to the lake again this weekend and the girls had soooo much fun! It rained ALL weekend, but that didn't stop them from having fun, especially when Abbey brought so many "friends" to play with!

Scary

One night Mckayla was absolutely cracking us and herself up by running around and growling at us and we would scream to act like we were so scared. She did it forever and it never got old for her...unfortunately we got kinda tired of being "scared" over and over and over and over... :)

Mckayla was ready for the big game on Saturday! She had her pompoms out and was yelling "GO COWBOYS!" It was a really fun day, Chris's parents came and we at TONS of good game day food and watched football all day! Mckayla got LOTS of playtime in with Grandma too and was not so happy to see them leave. We gotta find her some new OSU shirts though, this one was too small on her poochy belly! Maybe a good birthday idea... :)
