Coloring in style

So Mckayla was sitting at the kitchen table with us coloring on her magna doodles when all of a sudden she hops down, runs to her room, and comes back with her sunglasses on! She got back in her chair and was back to work! She said she needed them to color :)

We FINALLY got her a twin bed yesterday and she was SO excited, she slept so great in it last night! We moved most of her toys out of Olivia's room too and I was really afraid it was going to be super crowded in there but it turned out awesome!!! Here's the view walking in:

I hung some glass shelves on the wall by her dresser mirror but I need to paint the brackets white

And I need to figure out something to put by her "Once Upon a Time" wall decal...
but she LOVES IT!!!!
And the inspiration for it all...the Pottery Barn bedding I bought for her like a year ago that has been patiently waiting for a twin bed! I just need to get a comforter for this duvet cover.

I uploaded my video camera today and realized I had quite a few old videos on there that I hadn't uploaded, so here's some of the best ones for you!

This morning we planted some daisy seeds in the this cute princess tin kit and Mckayla asked if she could talk to the flowers :)

I love this one because she is reading her Goodnight Care Bears book to us. It is really short and we've read it so many times she knows most of the words (I'll put the actual words to the book at the bottom so you have an idea what she's saying in some parts, she doesn't read it all and repeats a lot of the same stuff)

Countdown to Disney World

I found this idea online to make a paper chain to countdown the days we have left until we leave for Disney World! So at this point when I made it the other day there were 20 days left! Mckayla gets up every day now and says "can I go tear off another circle?!!" Of course some days she wants to tear them all down, but so far so good!

She obviously wasn't too into posing at this time :)

Mckayla did some more drawings of our family. Mckayla is on the bottom left, daddy in the middle, then I'm the gigantic one with baby Olivia in my tummy :)

Naptime for Princesses

Mckayla stole all of her bath washcloths and came up with the idea that they could be perfect little beds and blankets for her princess figures! She was in her playroom for awhile doing all this and when she came out she kept telling us "shh the princesses are napping!" This is what she had set up for them:

This one is so funny because it looks like she grouped the princes together to have their own bed......
.....but then you pull back the covers and there's also 3 princesses in there! LOL

Birthday edit

Okay I've been cleaning out the playroom for a couple days now and we also do NOT need any coloring books or stuffed animals. Mckayla's entire toy box is full of just stuffed animals...and that's AFTER we got rid of a huge bag full! Eeek!

For all you early shoppers out there, I just want to let you know that I have been compiling an Amazon.com wish list for Mckayla's birthday of things we've found when we are out and about shopping. So some stuff is from the Disney Store, the rest of the toys and stuff can be found at most Wal-Mart's or Target's if you don't like ordering online. She DEFINITELY doesn't need an overabundance of toys please (we are already having to go through the mass of stuff she already has to make room for baby!) but other ideas for her are craft projects and kits and any other fun learning activities like that. Cheese Roll-up

Let me start off by saying that we RARELY eat fast food. Pretty much only at the food court at the mall, I can hardly remember a time in the last year I've been through a drive thru....that is until the past few weeks. This baby craves Taco Bell and McDonald's french fries like you wouldn't believe! In fact the more I talk about it the more I want some...Anyway, when I get Taco Bell I get Mckayla cheese nachos and a cheese roll-up, which is melted shredded cheese in a rolled up tortilla. So the other day she rolled up the rug in our living room saying she was making a cheese roll-up!

Portraits

Mckayla drew her very first people the other day!!! I only wish it was on paper instead of dry erase, but thankfully Chris got pictures of them for me (I was at work). She just told me that this first one is a picture of Mama with Olivia in the belly :) I loooooove it!

And she said at first that this one was daddy but then she said it's a dolphin. Later she drew our whole family :)

More decorations

Okay I'm officially obsessed. This bedding is my new obsession for Olivia. I found some actual customer photos of the bedding so you can see the true colors and how bright they are. PERFECT!

And now my super exciting find...a lady on ebay custom makes (hand paints) wall letters and she can match ANY bedding or design! Her ebay store is amazing! And amazingly enough I found some letters to match the bedding!!! Woo hoo! So this first pic is what the painted letters would look like...
But I would use this font instead....
And here's some actual letters made with this font. Isn't it ADORABLE?!
Eeek I am a little overly excited!!! Now I just gotta start saving up for all this stuff... :)

And I was worried about ever getting excited to do all this baby stuff again! hehehe
